Tanzania and Uganda Safari Expedition

Itinerary Day Description

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport

– meet and greet our company driver / hotel driver – transfer to Hotel.

Day 2: Pick Up from A Hotel In Entebbe

-Drive to Kibale forest national park – the home of primate chimpanzees.

8:00am After a healthy breakfast, you will be transferred to Kibale forest National Park, the capital world of primates. Such as chimpanzee, baboons and monkeys, with en-route lunch meals. Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge for dinner and peaceful overnight.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking and Afternoon Transfer Queen Elizabeth.

The park’s site guide will take you through this adventurous experience where you may be blessed with enormous encounters of various forest primates like the L’hoest, black faced colobus monkeys, baboons and other forest species. Later drive to queen elizabeth park, Upon arrival, check in at your lodge.

Day 4: Morning Game Drive – Afternoon Boat Cruise

Early in the morning set off for the morning game drive in the Northern crater area where there is a lot of dark holes called the black craters with no water. You may be able to see a lot of animal species such as the Elephants, lions, buffaloes, Leopards, monkeys such as the black and white colobus, vervet, patus, red-tailed and the blue monkeys. Other animals that can be seen are the bush pigs and the warthogs, antelopes. This side of the park provides a good view of numerous craters. The activity takes 3-4 hour.

Return for lunch at the lodge and in the afternoon go Later after lunch, you will embark on a boat cruise on Kaziga channel. This is very rewarding with the aquatic animals like crocodiles, hippos and many bird species like black bee carmine bee eaters and black bee eaters, Lesser Swamp-Warbler, Striated Heron among others. This takes 2-3 hour. Dinner and overnight at the booked lodge.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park.

You will set off and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable forest National Park. This forest is home to the magnificent giant mountain gorillas and a variety of other forest primates including the blue monkey as well as a wealth of bird life.

Along the journey, you will have a chance to visit the Ishasha sector, commonly known for tree climbing lions. Dinner and peaceful overnight in Bwindi NP.

Day 6: Gorilla Tracking in Uganda – Life-Time Memorable Experience.

After morning breakfast, you will get ready, along with your packed lunches to embark on the lifetime memorable experience in this magnificent forest for gorilla tracking. The trail you use may reward you with exciting moments of the giant mountain gorillas in bwindi this will be a reward of the ultimate gorilla experience’ as well as other primates that inhabit the forest. This may take you about 4-5 hrs in the jungle. You will return to the lodge for dinner.

Day 7: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park.

On this day, drive to lake Mburo game park, The green acacia woodland surrounding the lake harbors dense population of zebras, warthog, Buffalo, Impala and various others grazers, including the last surviving Ugandan population of Eland, the largest African Antelope. Later return for lunch at the lodge, later in the afternoon, embark on a boat ride on lake mburo.

Day 8: Return Back to Kampala City / Entebbe Airport for Departure

After breakfast, we will continue to Kampala reaching the capital late afternoon / evening. Dinner and overnight in kampala. your driver-guide will drive you to Entebbe airport for departure to Kilimanjaro International Airport.

Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) –Tarangire National Park

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), your driver guide will meet you. After your trip briefing, you will drive to Tarangire National Park.

Tanzania’s third largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area.

There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, and cheetah and up to six thousand elephant.

Day 2:   Tarangire – Serengeti National Park.

After breakfast from your lodge, with packed lunch boxes, you will drive onto Serengeti National Park with plenty to see on the way! En route you will see grazing zebras, antelopes and giraffes and sometimes some buffalos hiding in the bush.

On your way to Serengeti, you will visit a Masai village between Ngorongoro and the Serengeti National Park. Your visit includes a demonstration of traditional Masai dance, the opportunity to see the day to day workings of a Masai village, and the opportunity to purchase locally made jewellery.

Maasai Boma consists of several houses made of natural materials that are built in a circle to fence in the cattle. Visiting a Boma will give you the chance to see for yourself how the Maasai live. Additionally, you can talk to your hosts who will give you an in–depth understanding of their traditions and customs.

The South Serengeti ecosystem belongs partly to the Serengeti National park and partly to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (Ndutu Area). You will start your day 1 game drive into Serengeti National Park.

You will be able to game drive the central Serengeti en route to your camp.

Depending on the time of year and the migration of the herds you can expect to see wildebeest, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos, antelopes and many birds and other species. After your game drive in Serengeti National Park, you will drive to your camp and retire your day for dinner and overnight at Serengeti Acacia Camp   all meals included

Day 3: Full day game drive in Serengeti National Park

You will have breakfast at the camp and embark yourself on a full day game drive in Serengeti National park.

The Migration, consisting of around 2 million animals, is on the move all year round. Depending on the season you may see this impressive phenomenon.

Naturally it also attracts a mass of predators and you may be able to see a band of lionesses gather for a hunt.

After your full day game drive in Serengeti National Park, you will return to your camp for your 2nd overnight at Serengeti Acacia Camp in central SerengetiAll meals included

Day 4: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater – Natural Wonders

After breakfast from your camp, with packed lunch boxes, you will depart Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a wonderful game drive and picnic lunch. The inside of the crater is considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, the Ngorongoro Crater has one of the highest wild animal densities worldwide. Among the species are lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. You might expect to see the ‘Big Five’ in one day! You’ll then stay overnight at a lodge inside Ngorongoro.

Day 5: Return Back to Arusha for Departure

Morning after breakfast from your lodge, you will drive back to Arusha and opt to stay in the hotel or proceed to the Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure
