Full Itinerary 3 days Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
Day 1; Kampala to Mgahinga
You will set off from Kampala in the morning and start on your journey to the south west in kisoro district. You will have your first stop over in kayabwe district at the equator and take some photos for future memories and as well buy some gifts from the nearby craft shops, then after you will proceed to Mbarara town for lunch. Immediately after lunch you will continue on your journey viewing the beautiful sceneries of the west passing through the kigezi highlands as well viewing the virunga ranges. Arrival will be in the late evening, check in to your lodge and relax. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 2; Mgahinga Gorilla and Golden Monkey Tracking
After breakfast in the morning, you will move to the forest with your packed lunch for about 4 to 5 hours gorilla search where you will spend an hour with these endangered mountain gorillas, then after you will have your picnic lunch from where you will go to Gahinga in search for other primates and the golden monkeys with a number of different bird species and then after return to your lodge/hotel, spend the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day 3; Departure
After breakfast in the morning, you will check out your lodge and get on the journey back to Kampala.
